Are processors such as q6600 likely to drop in price within 2 months? maybe

The Q6600 is already low. It says it will lower to $200 while it is around $210 right now.

Price varys from place to place I have some AMD 4200+'s i am selling at £35 while a place 6 miles away is selling them for £40 so it's a case of just finding a place that is selling them at a price you are happy with.

An i am not sure on this please some one correct me if i am wrong but isn't intel gonna cancel socket LGA775 soon? an replace it with a new one to go with along with the planned mass role out of DDR3?

if you wait until the new ones are out the prices will be too high for you to buy straight away until they have the first price drop anyway. a q6600 will be a great option, especially when its overclocked for 210 you cant go wrong.

They will stop making LGA 775 Socket CPU and maybe be replaced by the Nehalem CPU Socket but it will take some time before it is officially canceled.
