Default Processor Specs?

so i found a AGP 775 and got my core 2 but i want to see my current processor speed and benchmarks before i see the difference....whats the best way to do this

Not entirely sure what you mean, but CPU- Z ( provides a lot of information about your computer.

if by processor speed you mean frequency and so on download CPU-Z.

for the benchmarks i would use SuperPi Mod 1.5. try running it at 1M and 32M if you want to see a big difference the relative times it takes to complete those calculations gives you an indication if it's power
