I just found this processor whilst looking around, and i am confused at how cheap it is.
It is the i5 3330, and it is apparently Ivy bridge, yet it is only £143 on Overclockers (not on a deal):
Intel Core i5-3330 3.00GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail [BX80637I53330]
I know it is only 3.0Ghz, but how important is that compared to clock speed?
I was wanting to know - is this any less powerful than the i5 2500, or have i just found a cheap alternative?
I'm wanting to cut down on this price of my computer as much as possible, and since i doubt i will be overclocking anymore, could this be my answer?
Thanks a lot,
Danny
