prices of intel quad cores coming down?

I paid $196.99 from newegg for my Q6600, which is now screaming @ 3.6ghz and holding at 28-32c and +10-12c loaded. using a zalman 9700 cpu cooler

since the q6600 has already dropped, u wont see another one. for the quad cores anyway. since the i7 isnt looking that great for gaming atm, if they lower all the prices the i7's wont sell, intel wouldnt do it.
