i have until mid march, but that 3870x2 is looking mighty tempting. If i can get a 2nd part time job i think i will splurge on a nice 28" 1920x1200 monitor and buy two 3870 x2's !

Is the 3870x2 expected to be more, less or equally performing compared to the 9800GX2? Seems like they are priced the same, $450.. if the performance is the same I will just go ATI in an x38 mobo
