Default power supply options

hey fellas can you guys give me some suggestions on power supplies?
the only requirement is that it has the 8 pin (6+2) pcie connector for my beastly hd2900.

The Corsair 550VX is perfect for the job. And not too pricey either:

a 520hx is great too... but the 550vx is cheaper.. odd...

520HX is modular, and has more amperage.

On a related note, the 550 is pretty much only going to support a single card correct? If i were to go for crossfire when the new ATI's come out i would probably need the 520 or 620 depending on the specs of the new cards right?

The 550VX can handle all that, just as good. And it does support SLI or a Crossfire configuration.
