Default power supply, need some major help

ok i kind of acted a bit dumb when i went and got a psu, i ended up buying a carsair 550w vx

now i found i need some were near 700w+, no i kind of getting some one i know to buy the 550w off me so i will get my money back but now i need to look at what psu i need

my set-up is going to be:

cpu - Q9450
hdd - western digital caviar, 2x 500GB
mobo - XFX MB-N780-ISH9
ram - 4x 1gb patriot 800mhz
gpu - 8800 gtx, one of them but upgrading to 3 over time (when i get cash)

and a dvdrw, dvd rom and card reader, i am not planning on overclocking i just want a good system thats going to last

Ram ~ 4GB worth (4 strips) of OCZ 2GB PC2-6400 Platinum Rev 2.0
PSU ~ Corsair 750TX
GPU ~ GTX 295

OS - Windows 7 Home 64-bit

Why buy 2 more 8800GTX cards when the 9800's are right around the corner? And according to nvidia you need around 1000w psu to cover 3 GTX's.

by the time you get 3 gtx's they will probably have card's that perform close to it w/ less power consumption.

3 8800GTX is totally pointless... Get a 8800GTS 512 and then get the 9800/radeon 4000 series flagship when it comes out.

you'll need a 30" monitor too plus 1k psu and the price of 2 more GTX's......rrrrrrrriiight
