Default Potential trouble for 9800gx2

Hmm, just found this, don't know if it was posted already:

Fudzilla - Nvidia partner warns users of 9800GX2 heat

I was waiting on my card purchase to see how this turned out. Think I am definitely going with 3870x2

This is only going to get worse and worse down the road as heat is going to be the ultimate design concern in the soon and far future.

there gonna get really hot and probably burn out, if they get as hot as they claim worry about your ram burning up as they arent as tough as a gpu when dealing with heat.

What doesn't have heat problems when they first come out?

In actuality...heat issues are going down. Smaller cores = less heat for the same performance. The gx2 is just a bad design. Although if the 9800GTX doesnt come out in time, i'll probably still end up stepping up to 2 gx2's I'm such a video card whore.
