Default Possibly making a how to guide about installing the 360 HD-DVD player on PC

I'm sure a lot of you have read about people using the xbox 360 HD-DVD players on the PC and installing it in the 5.25 bay. I'm not sure if their are any step by step guides on it though, if I created one, think it would get put to good use?

Woot yeah make it! If I saw you come through with this, I'd buy an HD-DVD player in a heartbeat!

Alright good deal then.

I only forgot one minor detail. I need a HDCP compliant video card. I went to Circuit City to pick up a HD-DVD player and realised it as soon as I got there.

I should of waited a bit longer to post something about this, I don't want people to think I'm a flake or anything. I'll just let tihs thread go dead, and as soon as I get my 8800gts, I'll get the HD-DVD player and start.

Nonononono.

You need a HDCP compliant video card. It's some sort of new copy protectiont thing, it's pretty much a "digital handshake". The monitor and the output source both have to support HDCP to play HD-DVD and (i think) blu-ray.

I just want a 8800gts because I want to upgrade my video card.
