I just bought a bfg 9800 gtx and when i installed it in my computer everything worked fine. Then i deleted the driver for the old 7600 and the computer had to restart, but it wouldn't come back on. So i took the 9800 back out and put the 7600 back in, it still wouldnt make it past the windows loading screen. I finally got it to work and start up. Everything should work with the new card, i have a e6400 core 2 duo, a 600 watt psu, a p5n-e sli mobo, and a 320g hd. Im just trying to make sure the hardware isnt the problem, my hdd has some errors, so im waiting on a disk wipe software to be delivered monday. If you think anything else could be the problem please tell me, but i believe its because of the hard drive having so many internal errors.
