Default Please, Sir, I want some more advice.

So, I was going to place an order for this probably tomorrow (Sunday), so I thought I'd post this here and get some last-minute feedback. I posted my last build (the one I'm using now actually) a couple of years ago, and it was really valuable. So, any advice would be welcomed:

COOLER MASTER RC-690-KKN1-GP Black SECC/ ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920 - Retail
EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
CORSAIR XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1333C9 - Retail
XFX GX260NADBF GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail (x2 for SLI)
CORSAIR CMPSU-1000HX 1000W ATX12V 2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Retail
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F1 HD103UJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
LG 22X DVDĪR DVD Burner with LightScribe Black SATA Model GH22LS30 - OEM (x2)
SAMSUNG 2253BW Black 22" 2ms(GTG) DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor - Retail (x2)
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64-bit English 1pk DSP OEI DVD for System Builders - OEM

And I suppose I had some questions. Does nVidia support SLI+Dual Moniters now? I looked around and I could find older information about how it was supposed to get introduced a couple months ago, but not so much on what the current state is. I was also thinking of getting a 3rd party CPU cooler, but I didn't see much for selection on newegg yet, unless there is something amazing that one of you guys can point out this looks like a later purchase. Finally, is the 1000w PSU too much?

Thank you so much!

go with the corsair 750watt, it's all you'll ever need. Uhmm, from the money saved from that pick up a set of DDR3 1600 RAM instead of the 1333 you have selected right now. And personally, if I was going to go SLI..i'd get a cheaper card. Like the EVGA core 216..it's like $240-250..same card, this one is just factory over clocked...but the extra $30 isn't worth it. You can overclock it yourself.

Yea, nvidia just came out with drivers to support that.

I'd suggest...
Newegg.com - EVGA 896-P3-1265-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
Over the one you have chosen, that is.

1000w is too much check the 750tx, with Big Bang 180 Forceware drivers SLI dual monitors is supported...

Not many coolers support Core i7, one of the few is the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme (and it should be lapped because its kind of convex)

@ Tenenbaum, the GTX 260 Black Edition IS the GTX 260+ (Core 216)

EDIT: I forgot something, drop Ultimate for Home Premium.. its not worth the extra cash for Ultimate

KILLER BUILD.. i love my core i7... and as said already the 750tx will do you fine...

but i will tell you, if you want to pull off some massive overclocks and plan on SLi in your future... i would stick to your 1kw psu... i easily have seen the tdp of this cpu going to 140!!!! and the gpu's i tihnk will pull something that off 200-300 watts per card full load overclocked

Well since Nosboost has actually owned (is owning actually) GTX 260 Core 216 SLI I guess you should listen to him about it

thats only in a case of overclocking.... and overclocking for benchmark numbers

if you're going to go for everday use.. and don't care about benching all day like i do... stick with the 750tx... lol i'm just greedy!!!

the circumstances i named are for some serious clocks... 700+ mhz gpu's and 3.6ghz(ish) nahalem.... it would still be a hard task to push that 750 watts

if only they made an 850 from corsair that would fit the need just fine!!! lol
