Default Please look at this monitor.

Newegg.com - ViewSonic VX2835WM 28" 3ms(GTG) HDMI W/ HDCP Widescreen LCD Monitor 500 cd/m2 800:1 Built in Speakers - Retail
that monitor says it has 1920x1200. Is that 1080p?

1080p is 1920 X 1080. That monitor would stretch the image higher but it is still an HD monitor.

1080 is more appropriate for TV monitors only...
computer monitor specs have been HD for quite some time now...

you can mix and match terminology...but then you could confuse yourself...instead, just look up what the whole HD world is...

dvi...hdmi...1080p...1080i...720p...720i

720i is HD....so that should get you started

That just seems like a pretty good monitor. Especially for the price.

thanks guys...san21893 didn't help to the topic at all... Did i ask you for how good the monitor was? I wanted to know if it was 1080p. And what's the purpose of writing *removed* as a post? Are you trying to tease me on a public forum or something. I think a moderator should look deeply into san21893 and his character.
