I don't see that 2x GT or 2x 3870 is a good investment right now, given the (real) 9 series Nvidia is around the corner. ish. Once they are done with the rubbish 9800 series.
Especially since 1xGTS 512 will play everything (save crysis) with ease at Max.
What do you gain for that investment: Crysis at slightly less painfully rubbish frame rates, and everything else, no improvement as GTS 512 can handle the games already. Why not wait until a more permanent solution arises.
