Hello. I am building a sytem that I want to be able to run BF2 very nicely. I also would hope the system would be able to run games for at least 9 months. I know nothing about AMD so please clue me in! Also is this video card good? Is it the 6600GT? Most importantly. will i be able to run bf2 with some decent settings? Thanks!

no it is not the 6600GT, can you read? lol. that amd processor is good it wont tell me if its venice core or not, kind of skimmed.

Oh yah. And what should I be looking at as far as AMD chips? I wanted to try amd this time because Ive heard its faster than intel for games.

Okay I am AMD dumb so this is where Im confused. A 3000+ = 1.80ghz? Well thats less then I have in my 2.2ghz p4 now. Also how many ghz can i OC this AMD 3000+ up to?

Here I can help

AMD do more per cycle, which means that a 1.8ghz AMD can easily outpeform a 3.0 GHZ Intel in most tasks (And gaming being it's biggest advantage)
