Default Please help me

Hi im building a new comp and im wondering if a 500watt thermaltake psu will be able to power all these.

1.APEVIA X-Dreamer II ATXB4KLW-BK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420W Power Supply - Retail
2.SAMSUNG SpinPoint P Series SP2004C 200GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
3.ASUS Striker Extreme LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX The Ultimate Gaming Motherboard - Retail
4.Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80562Q6600 - Retail
5.Sony NEC Optiarc CD Burner Black IDE Model CRX230EE/B2 W/O SW - OEM

It sure looks fine to me. I don't see any reason why you would need a more powerful power supply for what you have in your specs. Get it.

Well since your getting a nice system and its costing good money i would actually go and get a corsair HX520 or the 620. I am sure the 500 would handle it however the Corsair is much better and its a top line psu.. Its made my seasonic which is a awsome psu maker and there parts inside the psu are top quality.

also might i add that i wouldn't go with pny i would stick with the top 3 gpu makers ... xfx...evga...bfg. but thats really up to you.

ur getting a striker extreme with a 7600gs??

ultimate bottleneck, just drop to a p35-ds3r and get an 8800gts 320mb

but it'll power

unless he's planning on overclocking then get an Abit ip35 Pro ... they've been overclocking great and its easy i agree with the 88ooGTS.

umm thats funny cause i don't see nothing of him having 2 gpus on his list.. so where did u get sli from?

depending on the quality of the thermaltake psu. might wanna chek out the 12v rail amps

29A on 2 12V railings. Do you guys think that will power up his system? I think anything ~35A+ would be better.

u should change the mobo to a 650i instead save abit but i would get the ds3r p35 and get the 8800gts 320.
