Default Please help - First time building comp

Hey This is my first time building a computer from the ground up. I have about 1700 dollars to throw around. I'm looking for Fast, Hardcore gaming comp. I have the keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.. just want to spend 1700 on the tower. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Case, Drive are all personal
HD 4890 or GTX 285
COre i7 920
GA-EX58-UD3R
Any cheap DDR3 Kit (I'm not sure on these)
Corsair 850tx

EDIT: I forgot the drive, get any you'd like depending on how much space you really need

for 1700 you could get one **** of a rig - I hate to suggest a company's site but ibuypower is a good tool to see what you could get for a certain price, and pretty easy to atleast give you a baseline of what you might want.

I was lookin' to buy parts rather than a pre-assembled PC. Thanks though

both are great. I am partial to the Asus as that is the board I run but you would be happy with either.
