Default PhysX Looks Good

Anyone know anything about the PhysX chip. I've looked at there site and all it tells you is about what it can do not what it actually is. Is it like a graphics card so will it be in a PCI 16x slot. Just wandering as i'm building a computer now and I thought that might be something to upgrade to in the future.

Unreal Tournament 2007 is going to use it, and so will any game using the Unreal Engine 3.

I am under the impression that the card will be using one of those PCI-E 1x Slots on your motherboard.

Personally I rather see PhysX being intergrated directly onto the Video Card instead.

yes me too i dont want to pay 200 for a freaking physics card, that only a few games will need. No thank you. Put it on a graphics card and that will entice me more to buy that graphic card.

Then the graphics card will cost $200 more, mabey even more because they would have to fit the physx chip and its cooler and the gpu and it's cooler all on one board.

We don't know -- nobody has a PhysX card yet.
