He's pretty much saying that if you get two CPU's that both say 2.8ghz, it doesnt mean that they have the same performance. The insides may be different and thus will operate differently.

I think this will be of interest to you.

Nvidia GPU processing for CS4.

Wouldint be a bad idea to invest in just an Nvdia gpu so you can take advantage of this technology.

i 9800gt would be ok i think, +1 to zedmans newest build. unles he can pick one up for $200, which is an awesome price where from though?

Err...I don't get it....Nivdia has launched a new GPU for CS4....??

Also my brother wants to look into a water cooling system.....for hardcore gaming supposedly resulting in extreme temperature similar to what I used to get with my busted 6800GT.....

So I want to know if there is any good water cooling system just to satisfy his need to know more about them....

IMO this is the best price/performance kit you can get.

If you get an Nvidia video card, Adobe CS4 (you know.. PhotoShop, After Effects etc) can use the power of the video card and offers more performance over just a CPU.
