Welcome to Poweroptionz.com$150...Thermaltake Tsunami Case (Black)

And this PSU

Welcome to Poweroptionz.com $84....Enermax Liberty 400 Watts DXX

Would also like to state that a few months back I bought a pair of 1GB Kingston KVR400X64C3A Ram for $82...that's $27 more than the price available on Newegg...so I do have to pay a premium for almost all the components...
That is one reason I stated my budget to be at $800 though in reality it is somewhere near $900.

Gigabyte P43 ds3l ($129)

Intel Q6600 ($197)
Intel Q9400 ($278)
Intel Q9550 ($353)

Kingston PC2 6400 2GB ($38)
Kingston PC2 6400 1GB ($30)
Kingston PC2 6400 1GB HyperX ($44)
Kingston PC2 8500 1GB HyperX ($54)
Kingmax PC2 8500 1GB ($29)

Leadtek Geforce 9800GT 512MB ($174)
Leadtek Geforce 9400GS 256MB ($44)
Sapphire Radeon 4850 512MB ($218)

I don't know the exact specifications of the above components as I got these prices off the phone....will be going next week personally to have a close look.

Cant you just buy from NewEgg??

And the video card i suggested (the 4850) is significantly better than the 9800GT and is like $20 less... For around $800 there is no beating the build i suggested, but that all depends if you can buy from NewEgg of course. But anyway, i hope i helped you in some way.

I've edited my previous post to add a few more prices...

Problem is I live in Dubai, UAE...the shipping cost to get all those things here would be huge...add to that if I ever end up with a defective piece, the cost to ship it back....plus Newegg does not deliver internationally.... :(

And you have helped a lot.... :)

Yeah thats what i assumed, but those prices arnt too bad either...

Go with the Q6600 and the 9800GT.

What about the Q9400???

Also I keep reading the E-series run cooler than the Q-series....is this true...

The E series are all Dual Cores. And yeah sure you can get that one (Q9400), it is better and a smaller die (less heat than the Q6600), but the Q6600 should do you nicely.

Thing is currently I run a P4HT 2.4GHz and don't find 2.4 fast enough for single application usage....so I'm wondering if the Q6600 will be faster....

Well Pentium 4's suck for purposes that are not involving the need for a heater...

and nowadays clockspeeds mean crap, as some CPU's are faster clock per clock to others (faster at same core speed)
