They ever fix the problems with the Phenoms, and hows their 7series chipset?

the 790fx chipset is still good, the Phenoms still have the bug (until b3 steppings come out) but they also have a BIOS Fix which reduces performance, but since they came out you can get a Phenom b2 9500 for <$200

Id probably wait until they fix the bug if I get one.
Do you know if the new release will have reduced performance

No, it will have the normal performance, you'll know when they are released because they'll add the 50 at the end like the 9500 turns to Phenom 9550
