Performance Question

I know most of the people here are saying not to the Dual Core AMD processors for gaming builds, but I'm trading my laptop for a Compaq laptop, plus an AMD X2 4400+ and a eVGA 7800GTX. I'm getting the processor for free, pretty much. Should I try and sell/trade for a Opty that can OC real high, or will I not even notice the performance difference?

nah... if you HAVE a dual core, you may as well keep it. It's just more economical to buy mid-high range products instead of buying high-high end products.

Okay. If I wasn't going to get this CPU in a trade, then I probably would of just went with a single core Opty 146. Thanks for the reply.
