PCI-e card - too many choices

hi,

i looking for a good PCI-e card for my future gaming machine,but there are too many graphic card avaliable on market ( i read lots of article about choosing vcg card , but still cannot make choice)

my budget is $150 and not planning to OC it

which retail company is good ? asus, gainward ...?
i need 128mb or 256 mb ?

pls advice thanks

eVGA 6600GT... I would personally save 60 more dollars for an eVGA 6800GS which is pretty much twice as good as the 6600GT.

Well for $150, you can get a 6600GT, which is the best for that price. It performs better than most cards in the same price range although it is 128mb, not 256. And btw, i'm selling my ATI Radeon X700 Pro 256mb PCI-E for about $130 if you're interested. I've only had it for 2 months and it's still in great condition. Feel free to let me know if you're interested.

Yeah -- save up another $60 and get a 6800GS, it beats the 6600GT, AND the 6800GT, and even the 6800 Ultra when overclocked on stock cooling.

Are you military? I know of a couple of Air Force bases out in germany, cause my dad's in the Air Force.
