Default pci-e 1.x vs 2.0

Is there any noticeable performance increase from 1.x to 2.0? I know a while ago it was never a big deal... but with the new cards that have been coming out is there any difference between the two?

Still not enough to make a big deal (if any deal) about it

I noticed no difference really. I don't even think the 1.x bandwidth was fully utilized.

I think that's the exact reason why there's no difference.

well with anyting like a 4850x2 or better than it would be noticeable. but with cards like a GTX 260 it's not going to use all of the bandwidth.
