yeah a friend of mine bought it and i wouldnt work in his pc, it was ddr slot but just wouldnt work so he sold it to me

I got 512 from my cousin for free... :P He has DDR2 and bought DDR. Silly cousin.

somone told me that xfx 7600GT has no pci-E connector is this true?
not as much as doesent have one but more of doesent need one.

Do you mean extra power molex? If so then yes, you are correct. And it dosnt need one.

thats exactly what i mean, so i can run this videocard in my rig without a pci-E ready psu till i get enough money for one? like i dont have ANY pci-E connectors and thats okay?

how about the opty 146 or is there a big price difference? and dont mean to go off topic but this thing about pci-e connectors has made me a bit confused. i hav an ati x700 which is just connected through the pci-e slot and nothing else. is it meant to b connected by sumthin else? Thanks

no there is nothing you have to plug in. and as for the 146 there is a 64-70$ difference. believe me, i would if i could but im pressed for cash as it is.
