Default PC meant for gaming and design

Hello I've been trying to find the right parts that go together for a while now. I want to put together a pc that I can upgrade later when necessary.
I'm going to be using it for gaming and design. I mostly work with photoshop and Autodesk maya. I've already got the 4k monitor, now all I need is the computer to run it.

Here is my build so far:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690S HR - Box

Motherboard: ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 2

Case: Fractal Design Define R5 - Black

My budget is around 11000 dkk
That's 1752.124 U.S. dollars
And 1 478.14283

I'm sorry for only linking to danish sites, if you have questions please don't hesitate to ask.
I want to save as much money as I can, so I'm thinking of dropping the HDD.

- What do you guys think of this build?
- Would this run a 4k monitor?

Will it game at 4k? Not really. Will it design at 4k? Yes.

First thing's first, if design and CPU intensive applications are your main requirement then I suggest getting the 4790k instead. On that note, if you're wanting to save money then drop the H105 and get a cheaper H60. You also don't need the Noctua fans. They're great (I love them) but they're expensive and not necessary. Also the ones you chose aren't the proper fans for radiators, the NFP12 is.

Don't get overly expensive boards, they aren't worth the money. The Extreme4 is a little more but has an M.2 slot.
ASRock Z97 Anniversary | Billig
ASRock Z97 Extreme4 Z97 EXTREME4 | Billig

The drive you chose is an Enterprise drive, you don't need to spend the extra for that. It's not 4TB, but it's still a ton of space for now.
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 - 3TB ST3000DM001 | P lager | Billig

Here's some cheaper RAM.
G.Skill ARES LP DDR3-1600 C9 DC - 16GB F3-1600C9D-16GAR | Billig

THe PSU you chose, although great, is too much. Even if you went SLI 970 to properly power the 4k panel (and still come up a bit short) you don't need that much PSU. Here are some cheaper viable options that are still up to par on quality.
Seasonic G Series Gold - 650W PSU G-650 | Billig
Corsair CS650M Gold - 650W PSU CP-9020077-EU | P lager | Billig
Corsair RM650 Gold - 650W PSU CP-9020054-EU | P lager | Billig

Ah wow thank you
Design is definitely important but so is gaming :P
What would I have to do to make it 4k gaming compatible?

To put it blunt, wait for more powerful GPUs.

Hm I found this build: Intel Core i5-4590, EVGA GeForce GTX 980, Cooler Master N200 - System Build - PCPartPicker
It's stated that this build could run 4k gaming

Maybe but i doubt it could push the framerate to make it as beautiful as it will be in a few years

I have a GTX 980 now and I can tell you it doesn't run 4k good at all. And by 980, I mean overclocked to 1500 boost nonstop.

Actually I tried running Battlefield 3 (think about that) with DSR which forces the game to render at 4k and I got 45fps. BF3 of all games. That wasn't with maxed settings either.

My truly honest feedback would be take my previous advice from earlier and since you already bought the monitor just run your games at 1080p or 1440p.
