Pc Freezes While Gaming

The PC in my sig is the one in question.

The last couple of days it has froze up while playing Quake 4....and Stalker

When it freezes, I still have sound, although it is like it is stuck in a sound loop.

I have already checked the temperatures of everything right after an intense gaming session and the temps are VERY good....no problem what so ever there.

I am leaning toward this maybe being the memory?

Any ideas or suggestions?

u should make a log instead of cheking right after because by the time u exit temps can drop alot.

have u o/c'd?

I built my pc on Christmas day.

I had like one freeze up the first week playing Nascar Racing 2003 Season.

Then I never had another freez up until sometime last week....have had maybe 4 freeze up the last week...

The newest installed hardware would be my Razer mouse....about 1 month now

X-FI Gamer sound card.....about 2 months

have u tried turnin down the video graphics to see if its to much for ur card
