Ok i had 512DDR(pc2700) of ram a few days ago and fitted the same agian to make it 1 gig and i swear since doing this my pc is throwing more heat out the back? is that right or am i imagining things?

RAM modules do put out heat, but it darn well shouldn't be pumping out seemingly warmer air. The difference should be so small that someone would not be able to tell the difference with their hand.

Go into the BIOS and check the CPU temperature, only way to find out if you knocked something.

The air that comes out of my radiator on my PC feels very cold.

Yes they do, but certainty not enough to make the ambient temp of the pc noticeably hotter, unless it's constricting airflow or something.
