i run 3gb and no page file.
if i had 2gb i would probably set it up. try it both ways and see which you like better (if you can even tell the difference).

I've got 4GB RAM and no paging file.
I upgraded from 2GB a little while ago, and never needed any paging file until I went to XP x64. Then, occasionally, it would run out of memory (if I ran something like Crysis in 64-bit)
64-bit programs tend to use more memory
