P 6860 FX good for Crysis?

so... that's like the same thing... with a better CPU?

and... that's like, the processor right? would it cost less to get the p 6860 fx and upgrade to like a 2/3GHz myself? what would that make better and how much would it impact it?

you cant upgrade your laptop cpu. the p6860 fx is allready more expensive aswell.

well it only has 3GB of mem and a 160 HDD...

isn't the HDD the actually hard drive you save stuff to?
160 is plenty. i already have 320 external.

plus 3gb is also alot 4gb is preaty much useless anywa, even if he wants the 4gb buy the last 1gb ram is dirt cheap, its better to get something that is lower but is upgrade capable then something that is lower but isnt upgrade capable.

well i'm gonna say an 8800m is more than likely worse than an 8800gt...

so if your playing on a smaller res (1440x900)

you may be able to get away with high... but very high.. HAHA, you gotta be kidding me... you need sli 8800gts or a 9800gx2 to play that game on very high... and thats with a res such at 1680x1050 (but that might be pushing it)
