Default overclocking for a noob

i have a compaq presario with a pentium4 1.5ghz processor.(yeah, go ahead, laugh) As far as motherboards go, i have no idea what it is. please help me safely overclock it

most likely.
Dell, HP, Compaq, Sony all tend to lock their motherboards. some won't even let you change the bios in most ways. If you've got a video card, you can OC that but that's probably the extent of things.

dayum kiddo, go read the overclocking sticky or somethin! Increase the clock speeds in small increments testing easch time. if if becomes unstable or crashes you've come too far. Or you could be realistic and not bother unless you're doing it solely for experience! My phone probably has more gaming potential than that system
