Overclocking my Athlon

I have a Athon XP 3000 Baron core. I've messed around with overclocking a little here and there. I know the basics. Is there a way to get this machine at 2.2 ? I'd like to OC it to a 3200. My RAM is just run of the mill. I don't plan to overclock that but I thought maybe I can't OC my chip too fast incount of the RAM. ????????

wrong forum, but I'll give it a whirl. You should be able to reach that little speed jump on stock voltage. Run a mem divider at 5:6 and then bump up your FSB until you reach the speed you need. That way you won't need to buy overclocking ram.

make the same original post you made here in the OC'ing forum. It's the third one down the list. Read up on the basics of overclocking, or just read the part about the memory dividers, then overclock accordingly.

dont bother to make the post this one will probably move. and for overclocking i'd say garra and nubius know the most. but i've only been here for about 3 months, so i dont know everybody
