what would retail windows XP professional include that OEM windows XP professional would not include?

they're the same. wid oem, u just get the cd itself w/license. the retail cums in a fancy box w/extras.

well oem soemtimes comes with some precompiles stuff that makes windows runs good in the oem computer. other then that they are the same.

Yeah if you get OEM just make sure it still has the cd and the cd key sticker. Oh and if you got an AMD 64 get XP 64, even with the lack of drivers its worth it, it runs so smooth, I absolutely love it!

actually if u bought xp professional, u can get the 64-bit version for free from microsoft's website. but u have to pay for shipping tho
