actually i like a new Board... the IP35-E look into that.. its the price of the ds3l and has the RAID functions... and looks really good too

Thanks for pointing that out, turns out my case was on the does not fit list. I've changed to the Antec 900.

It doesn't support 45nm though and I'll be upgrading to Penryn next year.

I wonder why they didn't include firwire in the P35-DS3R?

In the specifications it said it only supports up to Core 2 Extreme

Also people have apparently been having boot-up problems with it

Quad-core / Core 2 Extreme / Core 2 Duo / Pentium

.... it says that also on the p35-ds3r... let me put it this way.. all p35 boards will be supporting the Yorkfield 45nm's coming out soon

Regardless, people have said they've had problems with it "double booting" and one guy said it died after 2 months

all the p35 boards have the double boot issue... also i've read that its been identifed and fixed... all you need is a BIOS update... also don't read Newegg reviews... most of them don't own the product and make up BS... one guy said his Pentium D 3.4ghz blows away this Core 2 Extreme x6800 which we all know is BS
