So I'm gonna sell my current rig and invest in a new *ultra* gaming monster, and I figured I'd better get advice on 2 things.
1. Would it be a 'bad' idea to get teh nehalem's as soon as they come out, or are they bug free enough to exploit straight away without waiting for months? I was thinking of getting the Core i7 940. benchmarks seem to justify the price jump from the 920, but not from the 940 to the 965.
2. I'm planning on getting a 4870 X2. I usually swing towards the green cards, but meh these seem pretty good. Also, since my wallet's gonna be taking a pounding on the cpu and mobo, I like the price on these things. Heck tho, is there anything coming out in the graphics area I don't know about?
