psu- corsair 520w
cpu- intel q6600
ram- 2gb ballistix
graphics- 8800GT
mobo- P35 for single graphics card, 680i if you want option for sli (2Gcards) later on.

P35 boards also support crossfire for dual 3870s. But ya, something on your list is way overpriced. My rig only cost 1500ish.

Added the prices, but checking online prices are very close to what I'm posting which is local... Note though they're GTS's no GT's

Well the e6700 is a waste of money seeing as the e6750 is now going for 189. If this is a prebuilt system, guess theres nothing you can do about it, but that is definitely jacking up the price. Also the 8800GTS's.

It's sorta pre-built. Its a base system build that can be added or removed based on their parts list.

Not sure if prices have changed due to dollar yet though, good thought bout the e6700 though. I wonnder if its an error as the q6600 is cheaper.

Holy crap, 227 bucks for the dvd rw? That should be about 30 bucks. Also, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT buy 2 GTS cards. The GT is cheaper AND faster. Also, if you want to save a bit of cash, a single GT can handle basically every game on the market atm. I'm actually probably going to sell off my 2nd card as SLI is overkill atm.

Total price 1819 dollars canadian. Allowing for shipping you are still coming in under 2000 dollars, and this is just from one site. If you shop around you can find better prices on all of this gear. What im trying to say is, build, dont buy. You get more machine and spend less money.
