Default Operating system help.

I've asked a lot of people and gotten a lot of responses.

If I buy a computer without an OS and add my own hard drive with Windows XP Home Edition as master and set the hard drive included as slave, what will happen?

Nothing will happen. So long as the two hard drives have the same OS on them and you have them set up correctly one will be master and one will be slave, nothing will happen.

But only one of the hard drives has Windows XP on it, what will happen then?

It will blue screen if you try to boot into it.

You will need to reinstall or run a repair install.
