Default Which Operating System?

Specs:

Asus A8n32 SLI deluxe
AMD 64 X2 4400+
2 gig or Corsair RAM
74 gig raptor
2 Evga 7800GT CO for SLI

which OS for Games n stuff.

is there much difference between XP PRO and XP HOME for gaming etc. and is it a good idea to get the X2 4400 , cos will there be games that will take advantage of both cores?

XP Pro x64 is not buggy, contrary to popular belief, but it has hardly any driver support. For the time being, I do not recommend it.

Pro. It has more security features and there are some programs I know of that only run on Pro, not home, like MSVM.
