Which one?

Gainward 7950GT Golden Sample 256MB vs Gainward 7950GT 512MB

Right narrowed it down to these two, anyone know the difference in performance? I imagine they would both give the same results.

512 is usually better then 256

That really doesnt help, was looking to see if anyone had any information on speeds, fps etc..

What are the prices? I haven't seen a exact comparison of them but if it is neglible (sp?) price difference than go for the 512 one. I can't find the Gainward 256MB version but the 512 has slightly faster clock speeds compared to the Leadtek - maybe 5<10fps difference.

The 256 is £190, running at MCS 1500MHz Core Clock Speed 580MHz. and 512 @ £193 only running at a compared 1400 and 550Mhz.

Last time I checked the "£" symbol stands for pounds (Sterling).

The 512 version is slower so I am thinking it would be slightly lower in performance, but there are a few games (DOOM 3) that like the extra memory...

I would have to admit that 512 would win me over in this case.
