Or if you know any other places to get a new gaming comp for cheap reply...

Im still a tech noob so im probly wrong on this but wont you need more than 420W
nvm i didnt read all your post lol sorry

Is 700 watts ok?

OCZ GameXStream 700W ATX12V 24PIN SLI Ready Active PFC ATX Power Supply 120MM Fan Black

that is in my second computer... is that ok?

Lol, 700W is so overkill. :D Its funny how people still get such overpowered PSUs, even Dual 8800GTXs don't need that.

Even though you are probably right, I'd still rather pay the extra money just to be safe. Because I'm sure everyone here doesn't really feel like taking a risk on a low wattage PSU that works for 2 hours, fries their entire system, and then has to shell out the money for a new system.

Thanks but no thanks.

Learn about PSUs, and then tell me what's safe. :)

A good 500W PSU (good isn't just determined by the name of the company that makes it) is enough to run a Dual 8800GTX system. :)
