which is the bettr onboard grfx solution

needed to play nwn2 and battlefield 2142

currently play both on a 7600gs 256 agp card

Asus M2A-VM AMD 690G Chipset DDR2/800 SATA RAID PCI-Express MBoard w/Radeon X1250 Graphic,GbLAN,USB2.0,&7.1Audio

or

Asus M3A78-EMH/HDMI AMD 780G Chipset DDR2/800 SATA PCI-Express MBoard w/GbLAN,USB2.0,&7.1Audio

or is there a similar priced onboard solution as i need to build a comp to play these games(especially neverwinter nights 2)(resource hog) and not a lot of money.

just bought a house.

Even though the 780G is the best on board out at the moment i still think it won't play those games.

If it does it will probably be on the lowest settings and still lag.

If you have a case fan over the onboard GPU you could overclock it pretty easily and its really overclockable

My brother plays 2142 and can max it out at 1280x800 no aa with good fps on a HD2600XT 512mb but that card is allot better than a HD3200. Based off the comparison of the 2600xt to the 3200 it should be able to play it but it will probably be on medium or low settings.

so in essence my 3.0 celeron with my 7600gs agp is still better than that solution?

perhaps i should just buy a p4 3.0 instead if that would make a big difference
and swap out the celeron.

i guess the real question is .....is the 780g igp going to be better than my 7600gs256 agp?

according to the specs(if im reading them right) it is a better card(hd32oo)than my 7600 gs
