old hard drive, new computer Please Help

I put a old hard drive into my new pc. Its the only hdd in the computer, and it already has windows 7 on it. when i boot up the system, windows wont load up and tells me to run the automatic windows repair. I run it and says there are hardware problems and to contact the pc manufacture (i put the computer together). What can I do to get this hdd to work this new computer?? Thanks for the time and advice

Try booting in safe mode, uninstall all drivers, then reboot.

But it may not work, and you would have to re-install Windows.
