SLI was fixed with the 9 series from what we seen so far. Two 9600gt's in sli beat an 8800gtx, and the second card gives over a 90% performance increase.

Two 9600gt's are cheaper that a single 8800gtx, and use less power.

Thanks for the input, but it doesnt really answer my question. The Gigabyte board specs are memory standard=ddr2 1600. Isnt it made to run 1600 instead of DDR2 800? if I run DDR2 800 wouldnt that slow the fsb down from 1333Mhz? to what? If I can run 800 and its just as good I could save the money on ram and get a board that will run SLI down the road if its fixed with the 9 series, cause thats what Im goin for here, to get a good build here to upgrade as time goes on.

Newegg.com - PC Power & Cooling S610EPS EPS12V 610W Continuous @ 40°C Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, cUL, CE, CB, TUV - Retail

better PSU, just in case that rebate doesn't go through (Don't give me crap about its wattage being less because, IT DOESN'T MATTER)

Haha, I laughed at that

I think we should post a few pages for people to read whenever they say they want a new rig... Quell some rumors right off the bat.
