Old computer, help please

i have an old computer and it needs upgrading really bad, i payed £200 for it and its really slow, got small RAM and hard drive memory and a ruppish graphics card with no PCI express slot, i was thinking about getting a new 1 but i wont get my money back for this one, so if anyone can please help me by giving me some tips without speanding a bomb i will be most happy

Let's start with the basics, mate. What computer have you got? If it is not a prebuilt model, then we need the specs for it... CPU, motherboard, RAM, hard drive, graphics card, power supply, and so forth.

If you don't know you specs, download Everest and tell us what it pulls up. You will have to open up your computer case and look at the power supply and tell us what it says on the side so we can know the wattage.
