Default Ok new build maybe.....

Well u no how the new DX10 cards are coming out well for 1000 i need a system that can run Vista, and not be a bottleneck for a DX10 card? any ideas also no keyboard or mouse, just need the case, cpu, OS, cooler, mem, optical drive, hard disk etc etc etc

Intel C2D 6400: $220
8800 GTS: About $370 on newegg.com
2 Gig of RAM (2 x 1GB): $ 155 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145015

You got about $360 left to spend on the motherboard, and storage devices.

Can't you use anything from your current system? Although I assume you want an extra pc for whatever reason...

Mobo: Gigabyte 965P-DS3 ($133)
HDD: Western Digital 160GB ($53)
Case: CoolerMaster Centurion 5 ($50)
PSU: Enermax 485W ($75)
DVD: Lite-On DVD burner ($35)

You'll just need the operating system now. If you're really short on money, get the E6300 instead of E6400.

for a psu the fortron 450 watt will do you really well and its like 50 bucks

actually i want a system that won't be a complete bottleneck for dx10 cards, cuz i've heard ppl say taht even e6300s are bottlenecks for a 8800 gtx? plus i need the extra PC for u no.....linux and mac and any suggestions for a gaming lcd or crt?
