ok to freeze things?

is it ok to put components (GPU,CPU ECT) in the freezer (in a wrap bag, with extra coating, dur safe? i heard a few peoploe do it, but dunno if it is... don't want my components to go back to the ice age... literally, so yes or no?

Freeze it and take it out then use it? NO....

Im sure you could (by why you would want to i dont know...) but you would have to avoid any quick changes in termperature which includes what peter said.
