My local Fry's has this memory for $199 - $50 Rebate.

Just wondering if this is compatible with ASUS P5B Deluxe motherboard? If any one has experience with this one please let me know. I am not going to use it for playing games.

yeah they'll work fine as long as you set the timings and speed in bios upon install.

(apparently they're not completely ready to go out of the box and w/ asus boards you need to change them from the default settings your board wanted to run them at)

I am using those sticks with my DS3 and they are pretty good. They won't hit the speeds the G Skill HZ's will, but they are about $80 cheaper. So for the price, they are pretty nice sticks.

Thanks guys

Fry's Here I come

Hope the still have them.

Is there a guide I can reed on how to set the right speed for the memory. I have never done oveclocking and could never figure out the relationship between the different memory settings and voltage, same goes for the CPU. I was going to see if I can overclock the E6600, but not sure how to do it.
