Let me define my view of "maxed out:"

At or above 1600x1200, 16x AA, 16xAF, all those nvidia/ati settings on max.

All game settings and options on the highest settings.

Still getting an average of 200fps, with a minimum of 60fps at certain points.

X2 3800+ @ 2.65Ghz, 2048MB OCZ DDR-400, 7900GT

I wasn't saying I could run Oblivion at those settings, lol, thats just what I consider "maxing out" to be, I can max out UT2004, but not quite Doom 3.

Pretty much on maxed oblivion, outdoors will kill any current card sans the aforementioned god card. Maybe a SLI system will have better performance but that's another issue, especially since the GX2 SLI is only availible in prefabs.

No it's not... Get two 7950GX2's and stick them in an SLi motherboard, get the beta drivers and you're set.

omfg...WHY Nvidea?! WHY?

i'm completely amazed...there' like 5 people in the world who'd buy that for gaming. maybe Pixar or somet animation company or a Game Developing company...but for gaming!?! no way.
