fermi will prolly cost more than 5970 or so, coz gtx295 cost twice as 5850 which is in the middle of 5780 and watever. monster card will hurt someone's pocket for sure Lolz.

but i wonder how much will fermi cost when they put it in the market sometimes this year. do you fermi will be released somewhere in feb? coz am planning to get a gpu when i get back from holiday so should I wait till feb?

gpu: 5870 or if fermi cost just a bit maybe ill jump for it but if not stick with 5870.

Nvidia is supposed to also release scaled down versions of it as mid-range cards. If Fermi turns out to be a folding monster it would be worth buying one of the lower end cards to use just for Folding.

That's my plan. MSI are coming out with a board with 6 PCI-e slots.

Folding

Members of the TF folding team get a badge under their avatar and the option to put their folding stats in their sig (Trotter, patonb and mysef all have this).
