Ill see how well my gts performs with the upcoming games.
If i need to upgrade, ill surely get the 8800ultra and get a q6600 go stepping processor.

All im wiating for is the price to drop, hopefully during thanks giving or christmas.

I was gonna wait and get a 9 series and throw it the rig i have now. guess i'll just save for an 8800 gtx then. I wont have the money till around november anyway.

hopefully the prices go down a little bit, then i can upgrade. Im hoping that the gtx will be able to max out any game thats coming out.

what about on the highest resolutions, considering the monitor i have. At 1680X1050?

If you overclock both the GPU and CPU pretty good, you can max them out, on that resolution.
