i install my mb, then my processor, then my ram, then my hard drive right......?



oh and most importantly u can run SATA2 on IDE right?

I install the components before i place my mobo in the case....

I prefer to attach the cpu, heatsink and the ram while its out of the case. Then i install the mobo in the case and after that i install the rest of the components. Make sure everything works before you install it in the case though.

No you cant run SATA 2 on IDE.

You run IDE on IDE, SATA on SATA, and SATA2 on SATA2.
